And nothing is said on the news! it is now $2.20 a gal! How much more are we going to stand being ripped off everyone?
I hate that! They can't just ease it up. They have to hit you with it all at once. :o(
Here we go. How long before they stick us with $4/gal just to add insult to economic injury?
Hey, I just found your site and I love it! What's the deal with gas prices going back up?!?!
You rock my world. I never knew gas could be...well...sexy. Until you came along, that is.
i got 11 gallons for $22 last night. it kinda makes me sad to know that prices are just gonna go back up again sometime soon.
It is good to see gas prices down Good job Pumpy
Check out the new game, PUMPSLAP!
Take your turn being Pumpy and give oil executives the smackdown.
Its really the fault of the speculators on Wall Street that are crushing us common folk. Congress should pass legislation banning speculation of commodities.

Even with gas and oil prices down it seems as though oil companies are still raking in record profits from us. What's going on?
Wait for it... OPEC is cutting back, and you know what that means. Well, Pumpy certainly does.
let's hope that this trend continues for a while. maybe with gas prices down, the economy will sorta jump-start itself. less money spent on gas = more money to spend on stuff you don't really need!
Here's a t-shirt that pretty much sums it up over the past year. Sure, prices are down now, but don't get used it. ..OPEC has already cut production!

Thank you, Pumpy, for bringing the HOPE for CHANGE at the pump. Yes, my friends, only a MAVERICK like Pumpy could get this job done, don't cha know.
regular unleaded was at $2.84 at the marathon by my house today. i actually saw diesel for less than $4. quick, someone knock on wood so this good luck doesn't disappear!
Thanks Pumpy for help bringing down gas prices this week. You are the voice (and the finger) of the american people. Pumpy for President.
I miss when you could use driving around aimlessly as a form of entertainment! Now getting 13 mpg its not even worth it to go to work! I would lose less money staying home!!
I found a gas station in my area is selling gas at $2.89 when you pay cash.
prices have gone down at least 30 cents in the last week. it went down 10 cents yesterday. and i managed to find a place selling regular unleaded at $2.96 today!
Alaska's average gas price is still almost $4 a gallon ($3.93) don't cha know. Palin, you'd better start drilling!
Yup. Bought this shiny new toy and gas prices went astronomical before my first oil change. Faaaaantastic.
Thanks to everyone we met while tailgating at the Notre Dame v. Purdue game. You guys sure know how to have a good time! Watch for the tailgating videos soon!
Maybe congress should take money from big oil to bail out investment banks 700billion dollar debt!!! WTF DUMB#%@
To all the oil company fat cats, lobbyists and others getting rich while the majority of the US overpays for gasoline... BITE ME
To the government who does nothing other than making sure their broker knows to invest in the oil companies so they get their piece... BITE ME
To the executives who lined their pockets while driving their companies into the ground so the US taxpayer could pay their bills and NOW have moved their investments into oil companies.. BITE ME
I never used to look like this. I used to be a princess... until $4 gas came around! Now look at me! How am I gonna get a date like this. F'n gas prices.
I'm very disappointed in you, gas prices. You used to be so cool. Now you're just a bully. Taking my lunch money every day. I hate you.
I was able to fill my tank for 3.77 before gas prices went up to 4.20ish again. I guess I consider myself lucky, but honestly it's pretty sad when paying 3.77 is feeling lucky... Maybe one day people will become nice and not try to rip us off... ya right i wish!
Pumpy, I run sound for a local band, and I cant afford to drive my truck and trailer to the gigs anymore, I may have to down size the p.a so I can fit it in a Yugo, the bass player is too loud anyway.
i miss the good ol' days when it didn't take my whole paycheck just to get a half a tank of gas...CURSE YOU GAS PRICES!
I drive a bug and it's still sucking me dry. This is getting ridiculous, for the love of God, please drill here at home!
I'm never gonna stop driving around in my SUV with the tunes cranked. I'll give up rent first! They can jack with gas prices, but they can't take away our freedom.
Pumpy you are the only one with enough guts to stand up to foreign oil companies. You go Pumpy!
Pumpy is the quintessential everyman. His plight is our own. We cannot help but salute along with him.
We honor you Pumpy. Your Patriotism is an inspiration to us all.
Pumpy, I am not buying gas until it is back under 4 bucks. I'll walk first. Enough is enough.
Go Pumpy!
Pumpy... the reason you don't understand ethanol as an alternative fuel is because it doesn't make sense, nor does it add up. Ethanol uses more energy just to produce it than to use it! It's inefficient and shouldn't be encouraged by those on Capital Hill! Sorry farmers, but alternative fuels like hydrogen fuel cells is where it's at! $4.00+ a gallon is ridiculous and ethanol is NOT where the solution lies! CURSE YOU GAS PRICES!!!!!!!!!
Highest gas profits ever for the gas companies, highest gas prices in history. Somebody is price gouging, even if it is not Pumpy!
Some people in Florida are paying that much because of the hurricane. Talk about adding insult to injury!
Pumpy, how about a 4 day work week so we can save on gas?
Do you think you could turn our employers to think conservatively? We need your help--you are our voice!
Go pumpy!
My little girl, not even two yrs old, LOVES Pumpy! After watching the YouTube videos, she kept going back to the computer. "Pumpy walkin'? Pumpy walkin'?" She can't get enough. Thanks, Pumpy, for entertaining my girl.
We don't have public transpo, and even if we did I still have to take my daughter to daycare then get to work. I can't imagine how long that would take on a bus route. Can't ride my bike either. Showing up to work all sweaty from the 12 mile ride wouldn't go over with my boss. Whoever's making all the big money from gas has me right where they want me. Stuck in the middle.
I never dreamed it would take so much money to fill my tank—over 50 bucks!
Here we go again!
